When and how did you become a couple?
We met in 1945 in Queens, New York. at a Howard Johnson USO event for hospitalized soldiers. While leaving a USO event, I gave a ride to my date's friend - the friend turned out to be my wife. I was very persistent. Originally, she gave her number to me to meet my brother. Eventually, they stopped dating, and I asked her out.
